Privacy Policy

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the Italian Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003), the Data Controller for personal data collected through backtoitaly.progettiobjectify.it is:

2. Types of data collected

Data provided voluntarily: first name, last name, email address, phone number, country of residence, message and any further information submitted through contact forms, direct email, WhatsApp or guide request.

Browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of request — collected automatically to ensure correct functioning and security of the website.

No special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) are collected.

3. Purposes of processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

a) to respond to consultancy, information or quote requests;
b) to perform the relocation/consultancy contract;
c) to send the "Italy Retirement Guide" or other requested material;
d) to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations;
e) to defend the Controller's rights in court.

5. Processing methods

Data is processed with electronic tools by authorised personnel, applying technical and organisational measures appropriate to ensure security, integrity and confidentiality (Art. 32 GDPR), preventing unauthorised access, loss or destruction.

6. Retention period

Data collected for information requests is kept for the time needed to handle the request and for up to 24 months afterwards.

Data related to contractual relationships is kept for 10 years after termination, as required by Italian tax and civil law.

Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until consent is withdrawn.

7. Recipients of data

Data may be shared with: the Controller's professional advisors (accountant, lawyer), technology providers (hosting, email, CRM), and public authorities upon request. These parties act as Data Processors (Art. 28 GDPR).

Data is never disseminated or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Transfer outside the EU

Some technology providers (hosting, email) may be based outside the European Union. In such cases, transfers take place on the basis of European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), ensuring an adequate level of protection.

9. Your rights (Arts. 15-22 GDPR)

At any time you have the right to:

• request rectification (Art. 16);
• request erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17);
• restrict processing (Art. 18);
• receive your data in a structured format (portability, Art. 20);

• not be subject to automated decisions (Art. 22);
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of previous processing;
• lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

10. How to exercise your rights

To exercise your rights, write to info@backtoitalynow.com with the subject "Privacy — GDPR rights" and attach a copy of your ID. The Controller will reply within 30 days.

11. Changes to this policy

The Controller may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
